Financial Arrangements

It is our mission to provide you with affordable, high quality treatment that fits into your budget. Your treatment plan will include a breakdown of all applicable fees, and we will inform you of all costs before treatment is administered. Charges are payable at the time of treatment. For your convenience, we offer a range of payment options, which we thoroughly explain to meet your needs. Please ask us about financing options, credit card payments, and bank drafts. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and CareCredit as an outside financing source. If special arrangements are needed, please talk to our office manager prior to receiving service.

Do not hesitate to ask about the anticipated charges. You will be responsible to pay the difference. It is your repsonsibility to know what your insurance covers. We want you to be comfortable.

Insurance

If you are covered by Delta Dental, BCBS Dental, or Harvard Pilgrim Health (children 13 and under), we are a participating provider and will submit your insurance claims.

If you have private dental insurance, we provide you with the necessary completed insurance form that you may submit for reimbursement.

Our office is committed to helping you maximize your insurance benefits. Because insurance policies vary greatly, we can only estimate your coverage in good faith but cannot guarantee coverage due to complexities of insurance contracts.

As a service to our patients, we will submit a pretreatment to your insurance company to confirm your coverage and understand the amount of co-payment to be expected.

If should be understood that there are many procedures that insurance companies don’t cover. You will be responsible to pay the difference. It is your repsonsibility to know what your insurance covers. For example, our office will do composite resin restorations (white fillings) on posterior teeth, as requested, but most insurance companies will only pay for an amalgam (silver fillings) on posterior teeth.
